Parron Wind Farm shared communities benefits
Event description
How can renewables developers share the rewards of development with communities? Can clean energy projects be positive for both project proponents and local residents? What does it take to ensure successful community benefit sharing?
For this webinar, we are joined by Tim Stevenson, a farmer from the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia leading the development of Parron Wind Farm in Badgingarra. Tim will discuss the proposed benefits that this project will provide for the local community and how being a local himself influenced his approach to community engagement. Tim's experience offers a guide for other communities and developers as renewable energy projects increase across WA.
