Parsons CD Lecture Series: Ana Rice
Event description
Join us for an in-person Parsons Communication Design Lecture featuring graphic designer Ana Rice from the Harris Walz campaign!
Ana Rice graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Photography from Virginia State University and later earned a Master's degree in Branding from the School of Visual Arts. She began her career as a designer at a law firm in Richmond, Virginia, before moving to New York, where she has been designing ever since. Her experience includes working with Cassandra, a strategy agency focused on young consumers, Afropunk, the music festival, and Droga5, the advertising agency. In 2023, Ana transitioned to freelance design, collaborating with notable brands such as Apple, Warby Parker, and Converse. Beyond her full-time work, Ana is passionate about building brands for minority- and women-owned businesses, groups that are often overlooked.
About Parsons CD Lecture Series
Parsons Communication Design Lecture Series invites designers with a unique perspective on practice; not only to learn from their work but also from the way they work. What drives their work and how do they sustain interest? What are the various forces that shape their projects? How do they manage conflicting interests in collaborations? The series is supported by the School of Art Media and Technology at Parsons School of Design.
Lectures are free and open to public.
The lecture details are announced through email and cdparsons.glideapp.io.
