Webinar: Partners in Recovery research series
Event description
Join us for the next webinar in our Partners in Recovery series, in partnership with the Centre for Social Impact (CSI) and Social Ventures Australia (SVA).
Since mid-2020 the research series has been exploring the unique social and economic contribution charities make to Australian society and how they are affected by the confluence of service disruption, falling income, rising demand and higher operating costs.
In this webinar we'll explore the most recent (and fifth) report in the series, which will be launched the day of the webinar.
Using updated ACNC data, the report assesses the financial health of the charities sector and investigates the structural challenges it still faces, despite the temporary relief from JobKeeper.
Presenters and panellists:
- Hon Dr Andrew Leigh MP: Assistant Minister for Competition, Charities and Treasury, and Federal Member for Fenner in the ACT
- Arminé Nalbandian: CEO, Centre for Social Impact
- Suzie Riddell: CEO, Social Ventures Australia
- Report researchers from CSI and SVA
The Partners in Recovery work is supported by The Snow Foundation, Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation and AMP Foundation.
Please note: This webinar will commence at 9:30am (AEST) and registrations will close an hour before. The webinar will be recorded and live transcriptions will be available.
