Pastured Poultry Event

ORICoop welcomes Pastured Poultry producers to this first inaugural networking and knowledge sharing event. Through our network of growers and producers, we have identified key opportunities and barriers and welcome you to join us for a day of learning, connecting and farm walking on a successful existing pastured poultry enterprise, at Tall Poppy Farm

Friday September 12th, 2025 at Tall Poppy Farm in Romsey, VIC.

The event will include:

• Welcome

• Panel discussion including existing producers, key field and nutrition expert plus details of the current organic egg markets and opportunities

• ORICoop to share details of our new certified organic poultry layer and crumble pellet journey

• Farm walk - talk - meet the Maremmas and chickens - plus Paola & Andrew's successful Pastured Poultry operation as part of their mixed enterprise with a cellar door and Dexter meat enterprise alongside (which is included in the farm tour). All things including cover cropping, feed rotations across enterprises and many other innovative regenerative practices.
  

Pastured Producer Panel includes:-

• Paola Crofts from Tall Poppy Farm around the business of pastured poultry enterprises

• Madelaine from Madelaine's Eggs
  

Morning tea and a healthy lunch are provided within the ticket cost, plus tea and coffee.
