Event description

We are delighted to welcome two legends of Irish rowing, Gearoid Towey and Tony O'Connor.

Gearoid is the holder of four world championship medals and competed at three Olympic games, while Tony won five world championship medals and competed at two Olympics.

Since retiring, both have moved to the southern hemisphere and built successful lives on this side of the world.

Gearoid lives in Sydney and is the founder of Crossing the Line Sport and co-founder of Athlete Advantage, both of which support athletes to make the transition out of elite sport. He is also in the process of studying for a law degree.

Tony lives in Christchurch and is a math teacher when he is not being a very successful rowing coach. He recently returned from Tokyo, where he coached the New Zealand men's eight to gold at the Olympic games.

We look forward to seeing you on the 26th!
