Event description

Are you ready to elevate your leadership and create true belonging in your workplace or classroom?

Join us for this unique and powerful two hour online professional development opportunity. Led by skilled First Nations facilitator Tammy, you will be guided through a process of unpacking what cultural intelligence means for you in your classroom or workplace.

Whether you're an educator or a leader in any field, this workshop is designed to provide you with the tools to build inclusive, culturally aware environments where everyone feels valued and safe. From unpacking cultural reference points to developing conscious leadership, this journey will leave you equipped to foster belonging for your team or students.

In this engaging Cultural Intelligence workshop you will learn to understand your own identity and how it shapes your interactions with others, particularly Indigenous peoples, students and children. This workshop helps participants break down biases, connect with Indigenous culture, and create inclusive spaces where everyone feels they belong.

Join us on this transformative path! Step into a space of deep reflection, growth, and connection. Together, let’s create a future where all voices are heard and every individual can flourish.

Each participant will receive a PDF workbook.

Why attend a Cultural Intelligence Workshop?

  • Explore ways of knowing, being and doing from a First Nations lens.
  • Be challenged to assess your own cultural intelligence.
  • Learn the 'how' and 'why' behind building your cultural intelligence.
  • Apply this knowledge to your workplace or classroom, to create a culturally inclusive learning environment.

About the facilitator:

Tammy Baart

As a proud Boorooberongal Dharug woman I educate, advocate for and enable all individuals to be empowered to exceed their own expectations. Over two decades of executive educational leadership experience has led to an ignited passion and drive to find the gaps in systems so all individuals are provided with the access and opportunity to succeed. Through honouring my culture to decolonise ways of being, doing and knowing, I work to create human-centred and sustainable solutions that leave a legacy everyone can be proud of.

Working across various industries, I bring people together through connection, collaboration and capitalising upon collective wisdom to create transformative workplace cultures through custom learning, development and training needs and building Cultural Intelligence.

“Tammy is a bold and courageous Indigenous woman who has the foresight and vision to push herself and in turn those she works with to greater heights. Understanding the bigger picture while knowing the little things matter is her superpower. The compassion and love she puts into the work she does with young people is contagious and endless.”

Join us for an engaging Cultural Intelligence workshop where you’ll learn to understand your own identity and how it shapes your interactions with others, particularly Indigenous peoples.

Riley Callie Resources is dedicated to amplifying First Nations voices in the education space and is proud to partner with Blak Ignited to bring you this workshop. Participants will also receive a special discount code for our online shop of Indigenous educational resources.
