Want to know more?
Often it’s a wiggly path we take in our working lives and technology careers are no different.
This event will give secondary school students an insight into the tech industry and what the day in the life of a young industry professional might look like. In a booming industry with a shortage of skilled talent predicted in the future, this is a not to be missed event for any student with an interest in tech.
This event provides secondary students aged 13-17 to engage with employers and ask questions.
Our Speakers
We will have speakers from Trineo, Jade and Vodafone.
These Canterbury tech employers will share their own unique career journey stories with you. They will provide an insight into their places of work and what they look for in their employees.
Event Delivery
Online via Zoom Webinar (the link will be emailed prior to the event).
This event is brought to you by Canterbury Tech and is funded by the Ministry of Education.
Attendees will be asked to complete a 60-second survey (roughly 8 questions) at the end of the session.
