Tonight our ears and hearts will be treated to the hallowed ground of two true Australian Blues artists: Paul Davies and Ray Jones.
Singer/ songwriter Paul Davies travels and performs throughout Western Australia and recently performed in UK and Europe. His profound music enthrals listeners at Festivals, Rodeos and Country Fairs. Davies’ play style can be traced to the Mississippi Delta; where the finger-picking technique originated. Playing a mixture of Folk, Blues, Country, ragtime and slide guitar, Davies plays from the heart. His stories and playstyle encapsulate the true blues-range genre.
Ray Jones is an intimate, story-driven performer, playing original music and telling the story behind the song. His performance has been described as a soulful experience. Jones' debut Album: Sleeping Rough (produced by Bill Chambers) was nominated for many awards and he has another album to be released this year. The WA Country Music Awards also granted Jones the Male Artist of the Year 2023 and 2024.
Jones is deemed a modern country troubadour: Troubadours performed poetry and music, sharing political, social and cultural news in the private courts in early France.
Tonight Jones and Davies share their work in this private court, The Chieftain Music Club.

- Can I choose my seating?
Yes. Request seating by table number on seating plan. We will do all we can to accommodate your request (leave a message on the ticket booking site if you have any restrictions that make it difficult for you to attend). Please note: Tables will be on a share-basis if you are not booking a full table. The Chieftain may reposition you to avoid a full table booking being split up.
- Can I bring my own food or drink?
Sorry, strictly NO BYO food (including snacks) or drinks. The Chieftain is a licensed venue providing non-alcohol and alcohol drinks including coffee and tea. Light catering will also be available (including GF and vegetarian).
- I bought a ticket and now can’t attend, can I get a refund?
Sorry, but the tickets are strictly non-refundable. You’re welcome to pass them on to a friend (give them the name on the booking so that they can be confirmed entry).
- What if the concert is cancelled by unforeseen circumstances?
In this case, we will offer a full refund.
- Can I book more than four tickets?
Feel free to contact The Chieftain Music Club for individual requests.
- Can I make a bulk booking for a business?
Every seat booked must have the attendee’s individual name attached to it. A Business name can be added under Business only. The Chieftain is a boutique venue and this initiative is to allow fair opportunity for all individuals to attend. Contact us to discuss.
