Fri, 23 Oct, 7:30pm - 8:45pm NZDT

Description

Paul Douglas is a white guy. At least, that's what the paperwork says.

One of New Zealand's busiest stand-up comedians, Paul is a regular headliner around the country and has appeared on 7 Days, Guy Montgomery's Guy Mont Spelling Bee and the NZ Comedy Gala.

Funny, relaxed and unmistakably Paul Douglas, The Brownest White Guy is an hour of stories, observations and laughs from a man who might be whiter than white, but somehow didn't get the memo.

Along with Timprovise, who will open for Paul, this will be guaranteed laughter from start to finish.

FAQs

  • Is there parking available?

Street parking only is available. You cannot park directly outside the premises, but you can park across the road.

  • Is alcohol sold at the premises?

Poppys does not sell alcohol as it does not have a licence to do so.

  • As alcohol isn't sold at the premises, can I bring some?

You can bring alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks to be consumed before or after the show. However, these cannot be consumed inside the club where the gig is held. You can enjoy them under the deck, or upstairs in the lounge, kitchen or deck area.

  • Can you eat and drink in the club where the comedy is performed?

No. You are more than welcome to eat and drink before and after the show. However, we ask that you do not eat or drink inside the club. We provide some food after the gig, and you are welcome to come upstairs and join the comics for something to eat.

  • Can you consume alcohol while watching the show?

No. You are more than welcome to drink before and after the show. However, we ask that alcohol is not consumed inside the club during the show.
