PAUSE AWARDS NIGHT 2022 – THE MOST ANTICIPATED EVENT FOR THE AUSTRALIAN INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM IS BACK, JOIN THE CHAMPIONS.
Aimed to impress, the fifth Annual Pause Awards Night 2022 & Afterparty is moving to the most iconic designer venue in Australia – BOND Melbourne, for the first time, on Monday 5th December. After last year’s limited capacity, this time we’re opening the most significant industry night to everyone in the ecosystem. You wouldn’t want to miss it!
THE 2022 WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON THE NIGHT.
We’d love to welcome you and your teams on the night. Premium Winner’s Pack and Trophies will be available for order straight after this event, and will ship in 2-3 days. The winners announcement will be shared in the media release and the website will update the following day. Key photos from the event will be available for promotions along with the winner's media kits, next day as well.

Additionally, everyone that attends will be separately invited to AWS Startups Breakfast with Champions on Wednesday 7 DEC from 8-9am in Abacus. However, there is limited capacity!
Set in the stylish and Melbourne's iconic cafe – Abacus on Chapel St. in South Yarra, we bring to you the best people in business to talk all that jazz. This is an early start 8–9 am, but it's well worth it for the bottomless coffee and superb kitchen breakfast menu.

Let’s celebrate the business success and end of the year with a bang, in the new stylish venue, with premium canapes and bottomless drinks. With 20 years in the scene, a local legend DJ James Steer will be spinning your favourite disco, funk, 80’ and 90’ dancefloor classics.
This event is sure to sell-out so book your group tickets well in advance to avoid disappointment.
6pm – 7pm | WELCOME RECEPTION
Join the finalists and winners in the special welcoming reception before the awards ceremony, and network with the industry luminaries and special guests from the innovation ecosystem. Official photographer and video team will be primed to capture the special moments and vox-pops in front of the Pause Awards Media Walls.
7pm – 10pm | AWARDS PRESENTATION
This night will be filled with champions of the industry where we celebrate their courage, resilience and ultimate success. We’re giving away Grand Prix and Hall of Fame as well as our Standard award trophies.
Garry Williams from Tractor Ventures will be your host for the night, joined by George Hedon, Founder of Pause Awards. The biggest excitement from last year was the winner’s ten-word speeches and dancing-walks!
10PM – 12AM | AFTERPARTY
This year we’re throwing a proper afterparty together with Blackmagic Design! BOND Melbourne is a classy mix of club and bar vibes so transforming into an afterparty will be effortless. The 20 years veteran, DJ James Steer is armed with your favourite hits all the way back to the 80's so nothing will be left to chance.
