Pause

Pause is a 20Talk Summer Series designed to help you step away from the noise of everyday life and experience the power of presence, stillness, and community.

For one hour, we’ll gather together in a calm, welcoming space without our phones and be guided through 20-minutes of silence as a group.

Date: Thursday 20th November, 2025

Time: 7:00am - 8:00am (please arrive 10 minutes early to set yourself up and be ready to pause)

Where: Cottesloe Civic Centre (Lower Gardens)

What to expect:

• A calm, phone-free environment

• Guided 20 minutes of silence

• Time for reflection and journaling

• Gentle community connection

What to bring:

• Something to sit on (yoga mat, blanket, chair, towel)

• A water bottle

• Comfortable clothing

• Journal/pen (optional)

You don’t need any experience with meditation, yoga, or mindfulness - just a willingness to put your phone away and be present. Ages 16+ (younger welcome if accompanied by a parent/guardian).
