    Event description

As we approach the end of 2024, we invite you to come together to pause, take time out, and reconnect with yourself. Join us for a gently transformative Sunday morning in this workshop designed to help you explore, reflect on, and embrace what matters in your life.

Workshop Overview: In this nurturing space, we will engage in arts-based inquiry and reflective practices to guide you through a process of review and renewal. This workshop is crafted for therapeutic arts practitioners, allied health professionals, and those passionate about cultural, personal and professional exploration. Join us to pause, reflect, and reset—reconnect with yourself and embark on a journey towards a more fulfilling and intentional life.

Under the guidance of Dr Jenni Harris, an experienced facilitator and qualified Art Therapist, this workshop offers a supportive environment where you can gain clarity, foster self-compassion, and envision a path forward that resonates with your deeper intentions and refresh skills in arts-based inquiry and reflective practice.

    What to Expect:

    • Reflective Exploration: Consider where you are now and clarify what matters as you move forward.
    • Identify and Reconsider: Identify the elements of your life that are working and those that may be holding you back. Explore creative ways to make conscious choices that better serve and align with you.
    • Creative Guidance: Supported through arts-based practices we’ll discover new perspectives and possibilities.
    • Dr Jenni Harris holds a Professional Doctorate in Therapeutic Arts Practice and brings over 25 years of experience in guiding individuals and groups through transformative experiences; exploring possibilities and choices.

With a background working in private practice, universities and medical settings, Jenni seamlessly blends creative arts with contemplative practices to create deeply nourishing and insightful workshops. Jenni’s wealth of experience includes years in private practice based out of The Arts Therapy Studio at Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre in Kew, teaching, facilitating retreats and presenting at various tertiary institutions, and offering supervision and professional development to other therapists.

The session will be held on online, and a certificate of attendance will be issued.

The workshop is designed to work with everyday materials which everyone can access or has at home. Please bring your journal, basic art materials possibly including some old magazines, images, a glue stick and scissors.
This workshop is suitable for adults (18+ years old).
