Pavlova Machine vol. 7 feat. MiNNA (UK)
Description
Washing Machine Disco Club and Holy Pavlova join forces once again to present: PAVLOVA MACHINE VOL 7!
Back in our spiritual home of Austinmer Surf Club, this super steamy summer edition features an extended headline set from one of the UK's finest up and coming DJs: MiNNA!
MiNNA fires up any dancefloor with her upbeat, effervescent energy. Drawing inspiration from sounds of the 70s discotheque, the London-based selector keeps people moving with mixes of Disco, Old School House and an eclectic selection of Vocal and Dance tunes.
Influenced by 90s music, especially from Chicago & New York, she combines her joy and curiosity of music & dancing by finding new tracks and digging through old records, which she began doing from the age of12. Over the past 18 months, MiNNA has been gaining momentum in the UK clubbing scene, playing for the likes of Defected, Glitterbox, Appetite and Disco Disco. She has filled the dancefloor at The Jazz Cafe, fabric and KOKO, to name a few, as well as playing at Notting Hill Carnival and Houghton Festival.
MiNNA has also been making waves overseas in clubs across Europe, such as Tbilisi, Netherlands, Italy, Portugal and Ibiza. On her last visit to Australia she played a peak time set at Hopkins Creek, while this trip sees her joining the bill for Strawberry Fields.
Supporting the likes of Masters At Work, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Armand Van Helden and Marcellus Pittman, she loves nothing more than creating a vibe on the dancefloor and bringing people together through her choice of tunes. MiNNA’s fundamental aim is to share the love of music and continue to carry the torch for her generation and the next to come.
WASHING MACHINE DJs will be warming things up before MiNNA locks in for a 3 hour set. Things are gonna get hot!
