Join us for a morning of fun, education and free coffee with your four-legged friend ☕🐶 

Did you know Sunbury is home to the elusive platypus? Learn how practising responsible dog ownership around waterways can protect our local platypus population 💧


What's On:
  • Dog obedience demonstration 🐶✨

Sunbury and District Obedience Dog Club will showcase essential commands and tricks to keep your furry friend happy and under control around waterways.

  • Guided Platypus Habitat Walk 🍃💧

Discover the unique world of the platypus on a guided walk along Jacksons Creek. Learn about their behaviour, threats and how you can protect these incredible creatures.

  • Free coffee, puppycinos & dog treats ☕🧁

Enjoy complimentary coffee and puppycinos courtesy of Spence and Co Coffee. Remember to bring your reusable coffee cup!

Key Event Information:
  • Event is located in Emu Bottom Wetlands, near the carpark. Parking is limited.
  • No toilets on-site.
  • Be Sun Smart 🌞 bring a hat, sunscreen and water. Wear comfortable shoes for the habitat walk.
    • Free event but registration is essential.
