Conversations with Wāhine has turned 3 years old and released over 100 episodes!
This small but mighty team of volunteers consists of Harita, Aisling, Hayley, Sophie, Viola, Eleanora, and Laura. Conversations with Wāhine is supported and funded by the Wellington Branch of National Council of Women New Zealand. The aim of this podcast has always been to provide a platform for women’s voices and topics impacting women across Aotearoa New Zealand.
We invite you to celebrate with us at a live show of Conversations with Wāhine. The main event will be an interesting discussion with the theme Pay Equity for Gender Equity, featuring some very exciting guests:
- Lyndy McIntyre - Co-Founder of the Living Wage Movement in Aotearoa New Zealand
- Bella Moke - Chair of Basic Income NZ - Te Utu Tika Hei Oranga i Aotearoa
- Brittany Goodwin - Senior Social Policy and Advocacy Advisor at Good Shepherd New Zealand
- Latayvia Tualasea Tautai - Schools Partnership Manager for the Lower North Island at World Vision & dedicated advocate for under-served communities
The show will start at 6:30pm, with light refreshments provided.
Tickets are available on a sliding scale, starting at $10 and going up to $50 for any supporters feeling especially generous. All profits go toward making Conversations with Wāhine happen.
