Thank you for your membership with the Peter Cowan Writers Centre Inc. We're thrilled to have you be part of our creative community and we look forward to seeing you in the house at a group, class, workshop, member project, or event soon!

Member Information

PCWC is an inclusive community for anyone from all stages of life engaged in writing:

• Fiction and non-fiction writers

• Poets, memoirists, experimental and hybrid writers

• Screenwriters and playwrights

• Graphic storytellers and comic creators

• Editors, designers, illustrators, typesetters, bookbinders, and printers

• Photographers, readers, and those exploring writing for the first time

Whether you write for personal enjoyment or are building a writing career, PCWC offers a supportive space to learn, create, and connect.

• Discounts at WA Writers United partner organisations, including the Fellowship of Australian Writers WA and KSP

Creative Opportunities

Members are encouraged to:

• Run or join writing groups

• Deliver workshops or facilitate conversations

• Host book clubs or literature discussions

• Explore storytelling forms such as graphic novels, YouTube content, or animation

• Program events such as book launches, group readings, and community gatherings

• Create collaborative writing projects with like‑minded members

• Contribute to PCWC’s blog or digital publications

Membership Process

Memberships are purchased or renewed via Humanitix.
All memberships must be presented to and approved by the PCWC Committee. Once processed by PCWC administration, new members receive email confirmation.

If a membership is not approved under Clause 5 of the Peter Cowan Writers Centre Inc. Constitution (Rules of Association), there will be notification in writing and a full refund.

Membership Communications and Terms

By purchasing a membership, you consent to receive PCWC email communications. You may unsubscribe at any time.
Membership is valid 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2027.

Note: 

• Please allow up to 3 weeks for your membership 'card' to be sent digitally to you.

• If you don't hear from us we will have been unable to connect with you. Please let us know at info@pcwc.org.au. Also, check your junk/spam mail regularly for our communications. If we are not recognised as a trusted sender our communications will end up there!

• No refunds are available on memberships.
