• What age group is this event for?

  This event is designed for people in their 20s and 30s, creating a fun and relatable space for social connection and meeting new people.

  A lively afternoon with music, laughs, group games and plenty of chatting! Expect a little pedalling, two pub/bar stops and a relaxed hangout afterwards.

• Can I come to the event on my own?

  Absolutely! Many people come solo, and our events are designed to make it easy to meet others. You’ll never feel out of place.

• What do I wear?

  Wear anything you feel comfortable in, keeping in mind you’ll be pedalling a bike. Closed-toe shoes are required - avoid sandals or thongs.

• Do I need to be fit or know how to ride a bike?

  You don’t need to balance or steer a bicycle yourself—HandleBar provides the driver! Riders are encouraged to pedal together, with electric assistance helping things along.

• Is this event accessible?

  HandleBar has a limited number of non-pedalling seats, which may suit some attendees. Please contact us before booking if you have access requirements so we can check suitable seating, boarding access and the pub/bar stops with the venue.

• Can I drink before the event?

  Please arrive sober. Anyone who arrives intoxicated will not be allowed to join the ride. Drinks can be purchased during the tour.

• Can I come if I don’t drink alcohol?

  Absolutely! There’s no pressure to drink or have the welcome shot. HandleBar offers mocktails, soft drinks and water, so you can enjoy the afternoon your way. Please arrive sober and drink responsibly throughout the event.

• Where do we meet, and what if I’m late?

  We’ll meet at HandleBar HomeBase, 10 Andrew Street, Adelaide. Please arrive at the advertised event start time for our welcome games and introductions. The bike departs on schedule, so late arrivals may miss the tour.

• What happens if it rains or is very hot?

  HandleBar generally operates rain or shine, so dress for the forecast! Thunderstorms or extreme heat may mean changes to the tour. We’ll contact attendees if arrangements change—please don’t assume the event is cancelled unless you hear from us.
