Peer Networking Catch Up September 2026

Volunteer leadership can be rewarding, challenging, and sometimes a little isolating. Our Peer Networking Catch Ups bring volunteer managers, coordinators, and community leaders together to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another.

These sessions are designed by and for people working with volunteers. They provide a relaxed and supportive space to discuss common challenges, exchange practical ideas, and strengthen relationships across the community sector.

Whether you're new to volunteer coordination or have years of experience, you're warmly invited to join the conversation.

We're currently shaping the agenda and welcome your ideas. Topics already suggested include:

• Volunteer recognition and appreciation: what's working in your organisation?

• Community venue and meeting spaces: do you have a space that could be available for community use?

• An update on the Police Vetting cost recovery review and our sector submission.

There will also be plenty of time for open discussion, networking, and peer support.
