Peer Reading - Term 3, 2026
Description
A program designed to improve literacy skills and foster a love of reading in primary-school aged children. High school volunteer Peer Leaders act as mentors and motivators during a one-on-one read aloud session with a Peer Reader, helping build confidence and enjoyment of reading together. This is a fantastic opportunity for children to practice reading in a fun and safe environment.
Peer Reading is suitable for children aged 5-12 who have commenced primary school education. Parents are not required to stay.
PLEASE NOTE:
Your booking is for all Tuesdays in Term 2, 2026, commencing Tuesday 28 July.
Each session runs for 30 minutes:
If you have booked the 3.45pm session, please collect your child no later than 4.15pm.
If you have booked the 4.15pm session, please collect your child no later than 4.45pm.
TICKETS WILL OPEN FOR BOOKING AT 9AM ON MONDAY 29 JUNE.
