Join us for a free, practical workshop designed to help local businesses understand the changes in food waste requirements and prepare with confidence.

The session includes practical examples, group discussion, and opportunities to ask questions specific to your business. Whether you’re a café, restaurant, club, aged care provider, early learning centre, supermarket, or other food waste-generating business, this workshop will help you understand what’s changing and what actions you can take now!
This event has free light catering provided to participants.

- Do I need to know anything about FOGO before attending?
No. This workshop is suitable for businesses that are completely new to the FOGO as well as those already preparing for the mandate.
- Does the FOGO mandate apply to my business?
We’ll explain the business thresholds, timelines, and requirements during the workshop and help you understand what applies to your situation.
- Can I ask questions about my specific business?
Yes. There will be opportunities to ask questions and discuss your business’s circumstances with Council staff and waste experts.
- Where is the workshop located?
Venue:Theatrette, Penrith City Library
Address: Penrith City Library, 601 High Street, PenrithGetting to the Theatrette:
Enter through the main entrance of Penrith City Library.
The Theatrette is located within the Library building, turn right upon entry head towards the far end of the building.
Library staff at the front desk can direct attendees to the room upon arrival also.
Accessible facilities are available within the venue.
