Navigating the complex world of grants can be daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. Learn the essential steps of grant writing, from understanding the landscape of available grants to crafting compelling applications driven by your knowledge of community needs. Outline of the training

Designed to help build on your understanding of your organisation or group’s opportunities, this training will hone in on what you do well, so you can better position your organisation to successfully apply for funding. Topics include:

»      Understanding the funder and what they want from you

»      Aligning the project with the funder outcomes

»      Defining the project’s benefit for the community

»      Deciding if you should apply for the grant

»      Finding evidence to support your project

»      Understanding grant eligibility criteria and guidelines

»      Adhering to the grant conditions and responsibilities

»      Evaluation of the project and the acquittal

»      Answers to some common grant questions to get you started
