PEPA Palliative Approach to Aged Care Workshop

The PEPA SA program is administered by Palliative Care SA. 
The aim of this workshop is to improve the understanding and practice of the healthcare workforce in the palliative approach to care through:

•  Understanding the important role that palliative care plays in the lives of people with life-limiting illness and their families / carers

•  Increasing confidence to provide holistic and person-centered care to those affected by life-limiting illness.

Workshop Content:

1. Principles of palliative care    

2. Communication   

3. Providing care    

4. Advance care planning 

5. End-of-life care    

6. Ethical issues & caring for yourself

Note:
- Registered attendees will receive SMS and email reminders in the lead up to the workshop, particularly as every workshop tends to be at full capacity with a waitlist on standby.
