Workshop Outline
The aim of this workshop is to develop knowledge, skills and confidence in the palliative approach to care for individual health professionals and various workforce groups.
Workshop includes:
Principles of palliative care
Communication
Providing care
Advance care planning
End-of-life care
Ethical issues in palliative care
Caring for yourself
Target audience:
Health care professionals working in South Australia with limited palliative care experience.
