Event description
Bring your family and friends for a fun community night at the Cygnet Town Hall on September 20! The Quiz Night is a fundraiser for ten of our students to travel to Japan.
Have you spotted Peregrine students at numerous local markets and events over the past 12 months? Or perhaps they've cut your lawn, mended your clothing, babysat your kids, sold you some laying chickens or even delivered bags of cow poo?Â
Along with language lessons, they've been learning all about enterprising, including the real value of money, and along the way, have gained some lessons in resilience, dedication and the hard work it takes to achieve this goal!
The Quiz Night:
- all ages eventÂ
- table prize for the quiz winnersÂ
- raffle prizes and silent auction itemsÂ
- student enterprise stallsÂ
- 10 rounds of 10 questions, plus entertaining gamesÂ
- One team per table, tables of 8 to 10 people
- buy tickets for individuals, a family of 4 or a table of 8Â
We appreciate pre-ordered food for catering purposes, but we will have more food and snacks available to purchase on the evening. A licensed bar will be available, with non-alcoholic drinks and hot beverages also available. All food and drink profits will go towards the trip.
Doors 5:30pm, quiz starts at 6:00pmÂ
If you have any questions about the event, please get in touch with Co-Principal, Rosy Keen (rosy@peregrine.tas.edu.au)Â
As this is a licensed event, no BYO drinks are allowed. The school reserves the right to refuse entry or ask people to leave in order to maintain a safe and orderly event for all. Â
