To the Owner (a possible impossibility) | Performance lecture
About the event
During this hour-long session in the final month of Alana Hunt’s exhibition To the Owner, the artist and writer will reflect on the development of her ongoing project To the Owner (of multiple properties). Through research, anecdotes and reflections, Hunt will explore recent developments and emerging possibilities for this relational project, and consider how they connect to her broader artistic and writing practice.
About the public program
The panel discussion is part of the wider public program series delivered alongside Alana Hunt’s first solo exhibition in Gadigal Nura/Sydney, To the Owner (UTS Gallery, 8 September – 18 December 2026). The program includes a series of free screenings, discussions and talks on the themes of property rights, housing and displacement.
For more information on the series, see UTS Gallery's program page.
To the Owner (a possible impossibility) is presented in partnership with The Ultimo Institute.
