Performing Your Poetry with Adara Enthaler

Price $150 – $170 AUD + BF Get tickets

Event description

What's the difference between page and performance? In this workshop, Adara Enthaler, host of Enough Said Poetry Slam, will take you through strategies for delivery and explore everything you need to know, from stage presence, the use of a microphone, controlling your breath and nerves, to performing your poetry in front of a live audience. Poets will get to practice reading their poetry aloud in this workshop, and post-workshop will be offered the opportunity to have one of their poems recorded for the SCWC poetry blog.

Catered lunch included.

Adara Enthaler is a spoken word poet living on Dharawal land, and the host of Enough Said Poetry Slam. Her poetry is an irreverent descent into self-love and sensuality, and she has featured at writers festivals, folk festivals, poetry slams and more across NSW. Her writing has appeared in numerous anthologies from Baby Teeth Journal and Heroines Festival, as well as her poetry zines Equidistant (2018) and Crowdsourced Poems (2022).
