Event description

Through others, we become ourselves” - Vygotsky

As the architect of The Becoming Principle and a leader of the performance activism movement, Cathy Salit can help you develop and create your story. As a performer, she can help you deepen your presence and bring your presentation to life. As a coach, she can help you grow in the process.

Join Cathy and Sarah Filman, leadership coach and founder of Playful Perspectives, to discover new and more effective versions of yourself and your project.

Using the tools of theater and improvisation, the developmental psychology of becoming, and a hefty supply of activist, business and street smarts, Cathy and Sarah will help you discover your power, creativity, agency, intellect, and soul.

In this two-part workshop Cathy and Sarah will lead an international group of performance activists, social entrepreneurs and project developers as they experiment, practice, and discover new and more effective versions of themselves and their projects (whether they are fully developed or in the conceptual stage).

Over the two sessions you will:

  • Create an “elevator” speech for your project/business/organization
  • Get actionable input and ideas from Cathy, Sarah, and the group that supports your vision
  • Develop greater creative flexibility in performing your story
  • Surprise yourself and your audience
  • Meet new friends from around the world–new ways to build help and support

Sessions held virtually, on Zoom, on Saturdays, December 7th and December 14th
