Event description
Discover a world where still images transform into motion. This surreal dance-theatre piece brings gallery images to life with curiosity, playfulness, and a bold reimagining of the unexpected.
Step into a world where the boundaries between canvas and choreography dissolve.
This performance doesn’t just interpret visual art - it reimagines, reframes, and throws it into motion with a surreal edge and a touch of theatrical mischief.
In this energetic and unpredictable dance-theatre work, performers respond to audience-made sketches and spontaneous images created before and during the show. These drawings are transformed in real time into movements, characters and moments on stage. The result is a constantly evolving piece that plays with the line between visual and live art.
It’s a celebration of play, perception, and the imagination’s ability to twist the familiar into something joyfully strange.
This is visual art unhinged - alive, chaotic, and joyfully surreal.
Arrive 15-20 minutes early to add a little doodle to the evening’s creation!
