Description
You don’t need to have it all figured out to join this circle.
Perhaps you’re navigating perimenopause. Perhaps you’re wondering whether this is the chapter you’re entering. Or perhaps you’d like to understand more before you get there.
The Perimenopause Circle is an invitation to sit with other women and talk about what this time of life feels like for you.
There will be room for the confusing parts, the tender parts, the laughter, the questions, and the relief of hearing someone say, “Me too.”
We’ll share tea and light snacks, listen to one another, and make space for conversations that may touch on our bodies, emotions, sexuality, relationships, and sense of self. The conversation will be guided by what participants choose to bring.
What to expect
• A small circle of up to 10 women.
• A facilitated conversation with space to share and listen.
• A gentle, optional somatic practice, with another brief practice if it feels helpful for the group.
• Tea, light snacks, and time to connect.
• Freedom to participate at your own pace.
You will never be required to share anything personal or take part in a practice. You are welcome to come simply to listen.
About your facilitator
I’m Mari, a somatic sex educator and a woman navigating perimenopause myself.
I’m bringing both my professional experience supporting people with sexuality and intimacy, and my own lived experience of this chapter. I’ll be facilitating the circle, sharing where it feels useful, and listening alongside you.
If you’d like to learn more about my work I offer, you’re welcome to visit my website: https://maricitysexbod.com.au/
Caring for the space
We’ll begin with shared agreements around respectful listening, privacy, and giving one another room to speak. We ask everyone to keep other participants’ stories and identities private. There will be no photography or recording during the circle.
This is a space for peer connection and shared experience. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or individual therapy.
