Event description

We live in a disposable culture. Periphery is a original, devised performance work which explores obsolescence - the process by which technologies, customs, and ideas fall out of favour, replaced by new innovation. From the designed obsolescence that sees us replace our phones, tv's, and appliances more and more frequently, to trades and skills which are disappearing, Periphery takes a moment to reflect on the relentless cycle of innovation and consider what might be worth holding onto.

Periphery has been devised by Amy Baillie, Megan Carlson, Elliot Howe, Brooke Ratcliffe, Adrian Smith and Blake Velden and directed by Asher Warren
