Raised Bed Vegetable Gardening Workshop & Permabee

This hands-on workshop offers a great opportunity to learn all about raised bed vegetable gardening for effective urban food production. We will be learning about the many different options for raised garden beds from crop-rotation, to wicking beds, to lasagne gardening and more.

To put our learning into practice, we will be preparing several raised beds ready for food production. Come along ready to get your hands (or gloves!) dirty!.

STRUCTURE OF THE DAY:

Arrive ready for a 9am start.

20 minute tea break at 11am.

Permabee finished at 1pm in time for a delicious lunch provided by our hosts!

PLEASE BRING ALONG:

• Garden gloves
• Hat and closed comfortable shoes
• Water Bottle

It would be helpful if participants could also bring along:

• Gardening bucket
• Garden Trowel
