What was the Permian era like in Tasmania during the existence of the supercontinent Pangea? - What are the characteristics of Permian rocks found across Australia, and how are Permian rocks distributed on the Tasman Peninsula?
Shalene will try to answer these and other fascinating questions. She will also discuss the depositional history of our Permian rocks, and share some of their characteristic fossils, and distinctive geomorphologies we see on the Tasman Peninsula.
