Permission to Write: A Monthly Writing Table
Third Saturday of the month March-November 2026 9.00am-11.00am
First session: Saturday 21 March 2026, 9.00am-11.00am - ARC Studio Bellingen, NSW
Permission to Write: A Monthly Writing Table is a gathering dedicated to the restorative, grounding, and imaginative power of writing.
From March to November, we meet around a shared table at ARC Studio to explore writing prompts, creative rituals, and meaningful goal‑setting in a warm, supportive environment.
No experience is required. This space welcomes complete beginners, returning writers, and anyone curious about using writing as a tool for personal wellbeing.
What Is Writing for Wellbeing?
Writing for wellbeing is a gentle, reflective practice that uses writing to support emotional clarity, self‑expression, and inner balance. It’s not about producing polished work or being 'a writer'. Instead, it’s about giving yourself time to slow down, organise your thoughts, and let your imagination stretch and breathe.
This approach can help you:
Process experiences and emotions
Strengthen intuition and creative confidence
Feel more grounded and centred
Explore ideas in a playful, pressure‑free way
Connect with others through shared creative exploration
What to Expect Each Month
Guided writing prompts to spark insight and imagination
Learn simple rituals to settle into your open creative flow
Time for personal writing and reflection
Optional sharing. There is no requirement to read aloud
Gentle monthly goal‑setting to support your creative intentions
Permission to Write: A Monthly Writing Table offers a spacious, welcoming environment where you can write for your own wellbeing, at your own pace, without judgement or expectation.
