Perron Institutes' Echo Yachts Fundraising Event - Volunteers Needed!

Help support a special fundraising event for the Perron Institute for Neurological and Translational Science, raising vital funds for Parkinson's research. Volunteers will assist at an exclusive evening hosted by Mark Stothard, CEO of Echo Yachts, as he celebrates the launch of his autobiography Game On while helping raise awareness and support for neurological research.
About the Event
Join guests inside the incredible fabrication hall at the Henderson Marine Complex, where Echo Yachts is currently constructing its next world-class superyacht. During the evening, Mark Stothard will share stories from his remarkable career, while Professor John Mamo will discuss the Perron Institute's groundbreaking research and clinical trials focused on Parkinson's disease and dementia.
Guests will enjoy canapés, paella, and drinks while supporting an important cause that impacts thousands of Australians.
The Perron Institute is one of Australia's leading medical research institutes, dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by neurological conditions and diseases through innovative research, clinical trials, and community engagement. This fundraising event will help support ongoing Parkinson's disease research and treatment initiatives.
Event Details:
When: 31st October 3pm - 9pm
Where: 49 Clarence Beach Rd, Henderson WA 6166 - https://www.echomarinegroup.com/
Role: assisting with set-up for the Event including preparing for the bar and food service, checking tickets of guests, directing traffic to parking places, directing guests to the entrance of the venue, bartending, assisting catering by serving food and drinks, tidying up, packing up at the end of the event and such other related tasks as may be required.
Volunteers must be 18 years or older
A 6-hour commitment is required
Volunteers will be required to sign a Perron Institute Volunteer Agreement
A safety briefing and Code of Conduct acknowledgement will be completed on arrival
Fuel vouchers will be provided to assist with travel costs
Please wear neat attire and flat, enclosed shoes
Bar staff must be accredited with an RSA
