Event description
What’s the game?
The inaugural Perry Cup 2025 is a one-day, mixed-gender 5-a-side charity football tournament celebrating football, culture, and community.
The event features a group stage and finals series under lights, with over $2,000 in prizes up for grabs. Expect food trucks, live DJ sets, giveaways, and family-friendly sideline vibes.
All profits go to the Brisbane Zero Campaign, supporting efforts to end homelessness.
Who can play?
Anyone! All you need is a team and a good attitude.
Teams must have 5 players minimum (on the pitch) and can register up to 10 players.
8 players is the sweet spot for subs and rotation.
The format is mixed-gender. Each team must field at least one female-identifying or non-binary player at all times (and have at least two registered overall).
Games run throughout the day with breaks. If you reach the finals, you’ll need to stick around, otherwise, feel free to come and go between matches.
Flying solo or missing players? We’ll do our best to match you up: team@perrycup.com
Who’s behind it?
We’re a crew of football-loving locals, organisations, businesses, and individuals, who created the Perry Cup to give back through the game we love.
Perry Park has given us a lot. This is our way of paying it forward.

Why we’re doing this
The Perry Cup is a non-profit fundraiser supporting Brisbane Zero, a campaign working to end homelessness through data-driven solutions and collaboration. With homelessness on the rise due to the housing crisis, we’re rallying our community to raise funds, build awareness, and come together for a cause that matters.
