Event description

Are your personal finances a bit all over the shop? Maybe you're going along okay, but keep meaning to start saving for real? Or combining those multiple Super accounts? Perhaps you know you're paying a lot in bank fees but not really sure how to fix it?

Personal Finance can be a stressful topic - an estimated 2.44 million Australians experience financial stress, and this can often stem from low financial literacy or low financial confidence.

Take a deep breath.

Your teacher Scott absolutely understands. Scott has a solid background in finance, and continues to work as a certified and experienced financial planner, helping clients and community improve their financial wellbeing across all stages of life.

Scott's workshops usually cover a specific topic: Superannuation, Cash Flow, Investing. However in this class he's touching on all of the important topics so you can reboot your personal finances.

So come and get the lowdown, and foster a more proactive and informed approach to your money and financial wellbeing.

What will we cover?

During this interactive class we will explore different areas of personal finance, including:

  • Cash flow awareness and spending habits
  • Superannuation and Retirement - current financial decisions for a strong retirement with common terminology without the jargon and key things to check about a fund
  • Investing - demystifying options, including as part of your Super account
