Perspective with Robert Jackson
Event description
5 weeks 28/2/25 - 28/3/25
Time and Relative Dimensions in Space
A Fresh Perspective
Have you ever wondered why things look smaller at a distance? Why that road disappears to a point on the horizon? Why the reflections in the river are upside down?
A lot of Art uses the illusion of Three Dimensional Space (i.e The World), on a Two Dimensional Surface (i.e. a piece of paper).
This is the Art of Perspective, and can be grasped with the knowledge of a few simple principles.
This course will be an ideal follow-up for those who have attended previous perspective courses.
We will revise the basics of one and two point perspective and delve into the study of shadows, reflections, projections and the vagaries of aerial perspective.
All materials will be provided, and you are also welcome to bring your own. Tea and Coffee will be provided. This course runs weekly, on Fridays from 11am - 1pm for 5 weeks.
