Event description

This is a one day festival highlighting the voices of an inclusive writing community here in Boorloo (Perth). We hope you will join us as we take the first steps towards greater equity in the arts scene in WA. We are delighted to confirm that award winning writer Sara Saleh will be the keynote speaker, alongside several other amazing WA based writers such as Hungerford winner Yirga Gelaw Woldeyes and Dorothy Hewett winners Josephine Wilson and Kaya Ortiz. There will be workshops, poetry, panels, readings, conversations and book launches throughout the day.

We are grateful for the support of the University of Western Australia for providing the venue for this event, and to the Institute of Advanced Studies for supporting Sara Saleh's visit.

We also acknowledge the support of Westerly, UWAP, UWA, Rabble Books and Games, the Blue Room Theatre and private donors.
