Peter Singer: What If Businesses Gave Away Their Profits?

What if a company's profits went to the world's most effective charities instead of to shareholders? Peter Singer, one of the world's most influential moral philosophers, will speak about Profit for Good: businesses owned by or committed to giving away most or all of their profits, from Who Gives A Crap to Humanitix. He'll also take on the hard questions the idea raises, including how it compares with giving directly to top charities and the financing challenges of firms with no shareholders.
