Returning to The Coolroom in great form with new songs and a autumnal big bold wolfie mood, Peter and the Wolves are ready to entertain and share their love of music, harmony and song.
Based in the cultural melting pot of Castlemaine, ‘Peter and the Wolves’ have been delighting audiences in Victoria’s central highlands for the past 5-6 years with their contemporary folk sound, refined musicianship and truly original offerings. Pete Bodin writes songs about things that people don’t write songs about! Deliberately avoiding clichés like unrequited love and ‘the road’, the Wolves songs are magical, theatrical and often humorous observations about emerging from pandemic, screaming into the wind, juggling parenting, ageing parents, insomnia and finding meaning in the 21st century landscape.
