Whether you are looking to meet new people, reconnect with friends, expand your network, or simply enjoy a memorable night on the harbour, the Arc PGC Sydney Harbour Cruise 2026 is the perfect opportunity to celebrate together.
Enjoy spectacular views of Sydney’s iconic harbour, food and drinks, music and entertainment, and a vibrant evening with postgraduate students from across faculties, cultures and backgrounds.

Date: Saturday, 3 October 2026
Time: 6:45 PM to 11:00 PM
Boarding: From 7:00 PM
Location: King Street Wharf, Barangaroo, Sydney
Dress Code: Cocktail Attire
⚠️ Please arrive at 6:45 PM SHARP. Boarding is strictly time limited and the vessel cannot wait for late arrivals. Attendees who arrive after boarding has closed will not be able to board the cruise.
👗 Dress Code
Cocktail attire is encouraged for the evening.
Please dress appropriately for a cruise event and wear suitable footwear. Thongs and excessively casual attire, including beachwear, are not permitted.
As parts of the vessel may be outdoors, we also recommend bringing a light jacket or other weather appropriate clothing.

The PGC Cruise is designed to bring postgraduate students together and foster connection, friendship, wellbeing and a stronger sense of community in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
🎟️ Tickets and Eligibility
This event is intended for UNSW postgraduate students.
Attendees must present their Humanitix ticket and valid UNSW student identification at boarding.
Tickets will be checked against student eligibility.
✅ What to Bring
Please ensure you bring:
• Your Humanitix ticket, either digital or printed
• Your valid UNSW student ID
• A valid proof of age photo ID, such as an Australian driver licence, NSW Photo Card or passport
• Your mobile phone
• Emergency contact details
• Weather appropriate clothing
• Any personal medication you may require during the event
To help us board everyone efficiently, please have your ticket QR code and student ID ready before joining the boarding queue.

• Illegal substances
• Dangerous or prohibited items
• Excessive intoxication
• Harassment, discrimination, threatening behaviour or violence
• Any conduct that compromises the safety, wellbeing or enjoyment of other attendees
Entry may be refused, or an attendee may be required to leave the event, where these requirements are not met or where directed by the vessel operator or event organisers.

📸 Photography & Media
Photography and videography will take place throughout the event. Images and footage may be used by Arc and the UNSW Postgraduate Council for communications, social media, promotional materials and future community engagement activities. If you have concerns about being photographed or filmed, please speak with an event organiser upon arrival.
