Phillip Island Ride 2021
Event description
This will be subject to COVID19 Situation and current Health Directions at the time of the ride. Which are being monitored.
Black Dog Ride's Phillip Island Ride 2021Â aims to start a conversation about depression and suicide prevention around the country. Help us get the country talking and join us on this exciting ride to Phillip Island.
We have start points in Port Macquarie NSW (North Western) and Anglesea VIC (Victorian).Â
Black Dog Ride has a history of visiting areas that are doing it tough to raise awareness of depression and suicide prevention. This ride continues that tradition. Aside from our message, there is a side benefit - motorbike riders spend money to do these treks, benefiting the economies of the towns and cities. With that in mind, our aim this year is to ride through bush fire impacted communities and show them they are valued.
What else is in it for you? A chance to get on your two wheels with mates, ride the twistiest roads we can muster on the way down, go for some laps on the best motorbike track in the world, and then watch the experts show us how it's done over the weekend.
Ride Costs
Rider: $100

Ride Itineraries
North Western Ride
The North Western Ride will visit regional Centres with overnight stays at Singleton, Bathurst, Tumbarumba and Bombala with the aim of having a leisurely and relaxing ride, ensuring plenty of breaks in smaller towns with time to explore and engage with locals before we head off the next day.
The proposed route will allow riders to join the ride at various locations. Newcastle / Central Coast riders could join on Day 1 between Port and Singleton, Sydney and environs could link in at Bathurst.
Some of the highlights of this route will be a lap of Mt Panorama, and crossing the Snowy Mountains from Khancoban to Jindabyne, as well as a great ride with great company and the most worthy of causes.
