- Case-based experiential learning (facilitated communication skills practice)
Facilitators:
Kate Holmes – A nurse educator at the Centre for Palliative Care. She has been working in palliative care for 25 years in varying roles both in the UK and Australia. These roles include work in the voluntary sector and the NHS in the UK, and as a Clinical Nurse Consultant in the public and private sector in Australia.
Kerrie Cunningham - Kerrie has been working in palliative care and providing education for over 15 years, across a variety of settings, including rural remote Australia and metropolitan Melbourne. Kerrie is dedicated to helping enhance and enrich health professionals understanding of palliative care, which in turn leads to improved patient and family outcomes.
