Photographic Theory: Conceptual Photography
Description
Take your photography beyond the technical and into the world of ideas. This creative photographic theory workshop, led by local photographic artist Sebastian Zenere, explores conceptual photography and how artists use the camera to express complex themes, ideas and stories.
The session includes an upstairs presentation introducing key historical artists who use photography to express complex themes and ideas, contextualised within modern art movements. It also includes a discussion of fine art photography and how to construct images with strong symbolism and visual storytelling.
