Stirling Kain is an emerging photographer working in experimental film and dark room photography. She produces tintype and ambrotype prints using film and dark room workflows, using second hand, broken, and gifted cameras. She is interested in idiosyncrasy, iconolatry, and ephemera as throughlines to communion between art object and viewer. She has exhibited locally and nationally since 2023, and she delivered her first solo exhibition, ‘I poured out honey’, at CURRENT ARI in April 2025.
