We apologise for the inconvenience, but invite you to join the online Physical Disability Awareness Day DisabiliTEA event scheduled for 2pm VIC time this Sunday (2nd February 2025).
The ever popular online event will include a fun Trivia session (with some fantastic prizes) and some amazing guest speakers who will share their stories.

On Sunday February 2nd 2025, Physical Disability Australia will be hosting the third Physical Disability Awareness Day.
Established in 2023 after seeing a gap in the awareness calendar for highlighting physical disabilities, this very special day brings attention to people living with physical disability, their contributions and the many conditions that fall under the physical disability umbrella. The day also provides a wonderful opportunity for people to come together and be united in their support for Australia’s physical disability community.
A number of face-to-face events have also been scheduled, including Strolls & Rolls around local parks, morning and afternoon tea and a lunch.
The ever popular online DisabiliTEA event will once again be held, this time with a fun Trivia session (with some fantastic prizes) and some amazing guest speakers who will share their stories. A face to face event has been in Melbourne has been organised at Flagstaff Gardens (cnr Williams and La Trobe Streets). It will be hosted by Robert Wise, Physical Disability Awareness Day Committee member and Physical Disability Australia Board representative.
Attendees are invited to bring along their own food and drinks.
Dependent on the weather, the event may include a Roll&Stroll around the park for those wishing to participate.
Flagstaff Gardens has accessible (disabled) parking spaces. These spaces are marked with a blue line and are typically signed "2P, Disability Only, 7am – 10pm, Mon – Sun".
Accessible toilets are available and open 6am-10pm. MLAK is not required. ( https://toiletmap.gov.au/12592 )

The online DisabiliTEA will run via Zoom nationally - allowing both the disability and wider communities to join together, to share stories and have a cup of tea together. Details are as follows:
