Come along to the fifth and final lecture in our Physics Gymnasium Series for 2024 to hear our speaker, Professor David Jamieson, explore the mind-bending world of Special Relativity:

Join us for a lecture that explores the fascinating world of Einstein’s Special Theory of Relativity. Discover how space and time intertwine, depending on your perspective, and witness how these extraordinary phenomena impact our everyday lives. Prepare to expand your mind as we delve into the captivating realm of light, space and tim.

Come along to the Hercus Theatre (near the corner of Swanston and Elgin Streets/Tin Alley) at 5:45 pm for light refreshments, for a 6 pm start. The lecture will be 40-50 minutes with time for some questions at the end.

Whilst this is an in-person event, a Zoom link will be sent out to all participants in the hour before the lecture to ensure that our far-flung friends can still come along virtually.
