About the Artists:
Dhiran Sodha is a fantastic musician specialising in drums and Piano. After volunteering at Pianodrome for many months, Dhiran's exceptional creativity and prowess on the Piano came to light through his ability to spontaneously play along to a random Ravel piece on the radio, to bewitching a crowd of visitors through his impromptu improvisations. Declaring his love for playing spooky music, we welcome him warmly to possess our piano on Halloween!
YES IT’S ANANIAS (CH) Brings us his "Psychoautomatic Solo Piano"
Until recently, Finland was still uncharted territory for the Swiss artist and piano improviser. After a very cold winter recording journey to Lammaskallion Studio on the shores of Lake Tuusula—where Jean Sibelius also had his home—YES IT’S ANANIAS channels the Nordic spirits through the piano. Shaped by progressive classical, modern classical, and the influence of the Finnish Kalevala, these spontaneous improvisations capture the raw, mystical atmosphere of the Nordic landscape.

Strawmoddie Theatre Company
Strawmoddie Theatre is a grassroots company based in Edinburgh, founded in 2015. They began with site-specific and horror theatre, and have since grown into a company known for bold adaptations, inventive staging, and a balance of wit and seriousness. Their work often brings literature to life on stage, with a special love for Terry Pratchett’s Discworld, adapted by Stephen Briggs, alongside original and historically inspired productions. They have performed twice a special piano adaptation of Peter Shaffer's Amadeus for Pianodrome and we welcome warmly this continued special collaboration!
