Pick your own potatoes at Just Ground Community Farm

Just Ground works with local communities to make food growing a means of healing, connection and resistance. Our community farmlet is co-located with Seaford Wetlands Community Garden, where we are growing fresh produce for locals to access.

Join us for our first harvest and pick yourself a bag of organically grown potatoes!

• Learn about the potato's journey from planting to harvest.

• Connect with Just Ground's food sovereignty work.

• Get your hands dirty digging for buried treasure.

• Help us weigh and document our harvest.

• Bring your young ones along for kids' activities.

There are two timeslots to choose from: 9.30am - 10.30am or 10.45am - 11.45am. Please register for everyone in your group who will be participating, including children. Each person registered will be able to pick 1 bag of approximately 1kg of potatoes. This is a free event, though donations will be gratefully accepted.

Please wear a hat, close-toed shoes and sun-safe clothing that you don't mind getting dirty! Cold water and sunscreen will be available. There will be a toilet onsite, and some shade and chairs. If the weather on the day is forecast above 35 degrees, the event will be cancelled. We will advise of this 48 hours before it is scheduled to start.

If you can no longer attend the event, please cancel your registration as soon as possible so others can take your place.
