Girls on the Run Picklefest Beginner Clinic and Coached Open Play

Join us on October 17, 2026, for a fundraiser benefiting Girls on the Run of Montgomery County!

At Girls on the Run Montgomery County Maryland, teaching essential life skills is the cornerstone of their research-based programs. Trained volunteer coaches facilitate lessons that blend physical activity with life skill development, including managing emotions, fostering friendships, and expressing empathy.

The beginner clinic is open to all ages. The first hour will be coached in small groups and the second hour will be open play with coaches rotating around the courts giving tips to maximize clinic skills.

Have you been looking to try pickleball but have not had a chance yet? Well, this is the perfect opportunity to try the fastest growing sport in America while also supporting a good cause! Please wear athletic attire and non-marking court shoes. Paddles are available to borrow if need be.
